We are fully Gas Safe registered and are fully qualified to provide Landlord certificates for all types of gas systems.

Landlords have a legal responsibility for the safety of their tenants. Therefore, as part of the tenancy process it is vital to provide tenants with a Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This will measure the energy efficiency of the property and will help renters to estimate how much they will need to pay in order to hear their homes.

Landlords should ensure that maintenance and annual safety checks on gas appliances are conducted by a Gas Safe registered engineer. It is a legal requirement for landlords to ensure the following:

1. All pipe-work, flues and appliances within the property are maintained in a safe condition and have a safety check conducted on an annual basis.
2. Maintenance and annual safety checks are completed by a registered Gas Safe engineer.
3. All gas equipment is safe or removed before re-letting. This includes any appliance that has been left by a previous tenant.
4. A gas safety record is provided to the tenant within 28 days of completing the check.
5. Copies of gas safety records are stored for two years.
